X macro vs x macro tacops.
I shoot the X-Macro better than the XL. Maybe an X-Macro Tacops would even the field. I will say that the X-Macro “Comp” does shoot a bit flatter for me and with just maybe a bit less perceived recoil. It certainly does seem that the X-Macro Tacops represents a great value with the extra mags.
x macro is $799 with factory comp and 2 mags. barrel length is 3.1 inches. x macro tacops is $749 with no comp, 4 mags, extended slide release and magwell. barrel length is 3.7 inches. Groups are pretty much the same. I am just back on target, and shoot, appreciably faster. SIG Certified P320 & P365 Armorer.Tacops for these very reasons: $50 cheaper than the comp, and you get 4 mags as opposed to 2 (essentially getting another $120 discount since these mags are $60 a pop). XCompact can run a bigger optic if that matters. I'd get the xmacro unless you shoot the xcompact better. X Macro is thinner with 17rd magazines. The p365 is the one with the most concealibility at the cost of shootability. I think the p365X or the p365 XL are also valid choices for remaining concealed but with a larger grip with flush magazines and still 12/15 round capacity. The X Macro is very close in size to a Glock 19 - shorter barrel, longer grip, thinner frame, +2 round capacity. 1.

So found complete XL slide for cheap and put it on macro frame. Moved macro slide over to old Wilson Combat regular 365 module. Nephew liked my macro/Xl combo. Balance between size, shootability and capacity. How thin it is makes such a big difference to me when carrying compared to similar length/height guns. For a carry gun I'd do the newer xmacro vs tac ops if you don't want the comp.
