Apr 30, 2017 · last evening we were watching recorded show, and when we finished and returned to live TV - we see the following message on the TV "U-verse is not available at this time". I've restarted the gateway several times and cycled power on the DVR controller several times. Still see the message: "U-verse is not available at this time"

Update: As of 11:20AM EST issue is resolved. Problem was related to migration of cloud services IPTV (change of IP address) in the Azure cloud for U-Verse mid-region IPTV server. Old IP restored. Customers may need to reboot their STBs that are not working. If that doesn't work then soft recovery maybe needed.

The amber light follows the ethernet cable in any port. The other wireless receivers i the home have u-verse access, but likewise no DVR function.
