The P322 does have the optic cut. I added a dovetail mount optic plate to my tx22. I have holosun 507k's on both. The P322 has a rectangular steel insert that houses the firing pin, This includes the breech face. It is not user removable. The P322 has been reported to have light strike issues and horrible barrel leading issues over on Sigtalk.

The TX22 has 10x as many rounds through it without a single failure of any kind. The G44 despite having way fewer rounds through it has hiccuped about as much as you would expect a semi auto 22 to do so. That’s not really an indictment of the G44 but side by side, the TX22 is a way better gun, especially for the money.TX22 has cheaper mags. The P322 does not feel cheap like the TX22. The P322 has nicer factory sights. The base model TX22 is not optics ready. You have to get the TX22 competition model or compact model if you want to put a dot on it. The P322 is optics ready.
