So far its a great update for our Vizio M65G8-G1 with my 3060 ti rig the latency is WAY much better on Windows even though its stuck at 60hz for life with this tv ugh. Yes, the firmware update has been nothing but a nightmare for our m50q7-h1. Once the tv is turned off you're lucky if you can ever get it turned back on except by unplugging it and plugging it back in. Ours is on Quick Start mode and not Eco mode. And our sound randomly goes out too for no reason.

Evidently, this model sound bar can get stuck in different modes. After you unplug it and plug it back in, it will say modes it's going through. Mine said "Demo mode, USB" so I figured it was in USB mode and followed the directions for the USB mode from that page I posted above. It worked fine.
