And I got to the Exotics, haven't started the quest, but I have gotten 14 out of 15 of the Lady of the Night Orchids, and I can't find the last one.

Thanks this just saved me,i was going to load another save from chapter 2. You can collect all the plumes and gator eggs prior to starting that mission, there's no spawn restriction there. I have all of those in chapter 2. They show up all the time but if you try to collect herbs for the exotics quest early itll only allow you to collect up to 1 less than how many you need. I was trying to get all the plants for exotics early but quickly figured out that if you need 5 you can only collect 4. Etc. Until your on the part of the quest that needs that herb.
