After using grim embrace for awhile, I can say in its current state, it's useless. 40 seconds of blocked gens, for spreading pressure & hooking everyone is not a fair reward. Hatch on some maps has a like 75% chance to spawn. On badham maps it's usually on the second floor or on the street. On swamp maps specifically grim pantry it's the staircase leading down to the bottom part of main. Hatch also has a decent chance of spawning by shack without offerings.

Ya, especially grim pantry. The gens are clustered around shack making for the easiest 3-gen. Main building is usually the only gen on that half of the map cutting the killers patrol down significantly. And it's the only map where you need to check the edge tiles to find totems.
