I own a 2010 GMC Acadia SLE, 4 wheel drive. I'm having a similar issue. While driving randomly not really on que it will go from drive to park and cycle multi times while the locks going crazy. Assuming locks are tied to shifter because during normal operation the doors unlock when parked, and lock when shifting into drive.Constantly get a message when I pull in somewhere and put the my 2017 Acadia Denali into park. It appears auto makers made a switch to R1234yf refrigerant in their A/C systems sometime about 2016. Maybe your mechanic isn't equipped to handle it. Hopefully, you bought the correct product. This refrigerant isn't compatible with R134a.My 2019 GMC Acadia started having the known "shift to park" issue that is affecting these make/models. This is a known issue and GMC has not issued a recall for it, nor are they covering any cost of repair. When the car is put into park, the screen displays a message that says "shift to park".
