I'd say use the m-Flash utility in the BIOS to update with. It's quite reliable and you don't have to worry about renaming the BIOS file and can even browse to it in a lower nested folder. But you do have to be sure to extract it from the distribution archive. The file to extract is named E7C02AMS.H63 and is 17.2MB.If i go into "CPU Specifications" it shows that SVM is supported. The CPU won't be bottlenecked by the motherboard, it'll either work or it won't, though some really crappy motherboards have VRMs that can't handle the power draw of higher-end CPUs. BIOS updates usually only add hardware capability for newer components or fixes an issue that came up in the prior BIOS version. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
