Check your antivirus and how it feels about Stellaris and the Paradox Launcher. They made some changes recently that has had antivirus programs eyeing those with suspicion. It sounds to me like something is preventing them from accessing the necessary files in C:\Users\ [USER] \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\. Try to run the game with only 1 of the 3 mods, and see what happens. Then run with the second of the 3 mods, and see what happens. Then the third. If all 3 are fine, try a combination of 2 out of 3 mods. Then a combination of 2 others, and finally the last combination. That sounds like your anti-virus and anti-ransomware software is keeping the game from modifying files in your User Documents folder. Check that they're not blocking the launcher too or you won't be able to mess with mods. Yes I read that that was the issue in other places as well. At random points when I open up a menu or ironman mode saves at the first of each month, the game freezes and crashes (about 5-12 months into a play sitting at 250 years in). I can’t tell if its because of too many moving parts or if it’s a specific bug, but it hadn’t happened until the apocalypse dlc came out. Report.
