Any performance beyond stock will shorten the life span. Manufacturers determine an engine will last X miles at its current power level. The more you increase the power of the engine the less life you’d get out of it due to the increased forces the engine wasn’t necessarily built for, even if the engine can handle 500whp. here are my charts after a good tune with Jon at Z1. I forgot to get the base pull chart but it was varying from 275-280WHP. Z1 tunes are great. Look at enthalpy aswell I would go with whoever is closer between the two. I got a z1 tune after intakes/catback and I had no issues with it, have them doing the tune now whenever I finish the Supercharger install as well. Most people invest in an exhaust at the very least alongside the intakes and test pipes/HFCs are a very worthwhile addition.
