Multi hit is too boring. Combat is all about spacing and timing, and finding the right rythm for these two things. Also, even a few zombies mean quite the threat for a long while untill you level up a weapon skill. With multi hit on, the game turns into a hack and slash borefest, where even larger groups are easy to deal with from the get go.

Multihit is 100% cheating and must only be used by new players. Nah, it is how folks like to play it, their decision their oppinion. Just like how some folks burn down massive hordes of zombies, or use the crate and fence tactic.
