Alternatively, I HIGHLY recommend NPRE 101. It was such a cool class, I learned a lot, and it was really fun. Think of all the great parts of a good elementary school science class (explosions, liquid nitrogen, etc.), add in basic college subject matter, and you've got this class. As long as you go to class and do the homework, it's really easy!

Heads up: only biology, chemistry, physics, and math classes are factored into your science GPA for medical school, so classes like geology and environmental science don't count. However, UIUC expects that you come to class 4 times a week, twice for discussion and one of those times for a quiz. My parkland class (with Brian Smith who isn't teaching it this semester) was much more simplistic in terms of its course structure. ECE tech electives but not ECE classes. if GEOL 107 is still a tech elective, it's very very easy, plus you get to go on a field trip and hike around a state park for a day. ECE 408 is pretty good.Communications. I personally think econ is the easiest depending on your definition of "easy". Most econ classes after the 100 level are 100% test weighted. Meaning you can never go to class and never do a minute of homework and just take a couple tests and you are done.Mcb 402 is very easy and pretty fun imo. 317 like you said was pretty solid, I also just took MCB 300 this semester and didn't find it particularly fun or interesting, but it was pretty easy since exams were open note. For tests, there's a midterm and a final (both of which you can do anytime within the given window). CLCV 224 is a fun easy class. Not too much effort is needed and you can do really well in class even without watching any lectures and barely doing any reading.

For each class, you have to read a short article, research something online, or watch a movie and then answer some questions about the topic. The daily commitment is kinda annoying since you have to complete an exercise for each class.

Luckily at UIUC for CS its easy to get exempt from the writing requirement and the gen ed requirements can be filled by certain really easy classes that just throw As at the students.
