Best doom wads of all time.
Ancient Aliens, Valiant, Eviternity, Auger Zenith are some of my favorites that don't get too bad difficulty-wise, though they can get quite challenging in places. I think I found Going Down harder than those at its hardest, but that's subjective of course. If you haven't gone into Final Doom, those might be a good place to start too.

Speed of Doom. Joshy and Darkwave collaboration. Lot of variety in here but the gameplay will keep you on your toes. My favorite maps were from Darkwave. Behemoth. Single map. As DooM 2 Steam runs immediatly DOOM 2 with no parameter command, you have to open Doom2m.conf, and on the "DOOM2.EXE" line, add the -file parameter and the PWAD. Example: DOOM2.EXE -file ACHRON22.WAD. Don't forget to add the wad on the same directory than DooM 2.
