Obviously being in a class of 400 people will mean you have to go out of your way if you really want to stand out/need help. You can fall down the cracks at any school though. Temple's clinical requirements are much likely more stringent than NYU. In general, Temple medical students/residents live in Center City or Manayunk, though, just as Jefferson medical students do. I believe that Temple's location and community are among its primary strengths due to the poverty of the surrounding community.
