Just buy a stamped Saiga AK and convert it, or buy a stamped arsenal already converted. Milled receivers are only for the hardcore collectors in my opinion. A Stamped AK will out last you and your grandchildren.

As far as I know, this furniture would fit the Saiga-100 in 308 just as easily. The wood used is sassafrass and isn't sanded very much. The purpose of this set was to verify the dimensions of my pattern.

Saiga-12.com Corporation Powered by Invision Community.after doing some more research on the zastava m76, i found out there where a few .308 m76 rifles imported at one time. also the m76 has been chambered in 3 main rnds from the factory. 8mm mauser, 7.62x51 (or .308 winchester it could handle both) and 7.62x54r. so a siaga .308 converted to an m76 lookalike isnt that far off from an original. it should be a fun ride.
