Ram 2500 stuck in 4th gear.

On a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT, this morning was -4*c (24F) and when I started it up heading to work I noticed it was stuck in 4th gear. It's an automatic transmission. Couldn't raise or lower gears with the +/- buttons. In the past month, when I’m downshifting using the exhaust brake to slow down, it will jump to 4th gear and stay there.
