Vehicle: 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro-4x (35k total miles) with lift and 295 tires. Have had lift and tires now about 30k no issues. When I start the Xterra I have the "Diff lock" and "VDC off" lights. As soon as I turn my wheel (about 45-90 degrees) the "diff lock" light turns off. Then the ABS, VDC Off, SLIP lights turn on.Take Xterra to a semi straight road. Tried disconnecting the battery, the whole drive straight thing, brake pads, rotors, fluid has all been done recently. Starter, battery, alternator all tested good, starts and runs just fine as if the lights weren’t on. Tran fluid is good, 4WD works.

Here is what worked on mine: 1. turned off the car. 2. disconnected "-" battery terminal. 3. connected the terminal back on. 4. started the ignition. 5. drove in the straight line for about 100 m. 6. remember no reverse just "d" and drive in a straight line.

I've purchased a 2005 xterra, GREAT vehicle. Since I've had it [purchased 12/2005] the 'VDC oFF' & 'SLIP' indicator lights have came ON and stayed ON until Reset by procedure in manual.
