M1 collectors club.
I have been looking for parkerized M1 15 rounds magazines for my collection. What I have seen so far is cleaned up magazines with traces of corrosion, then parkerized. In no way attractive. I have been told the parkerized magazines were intented for troops in South East Asia. They should resist the humid climate better when parkerized.

Hi from Pittsburgh, PA. I bought an Inland M1 for just over $400 last week. It shoots fine but the fun is in learning more about the rifle. The paperwork indicates a direct sale to a service member in 1946. No DCM at that time. The reference of "paso" along with the APO and reference to a Pacific Army Regulation, to me says this transfer occurred in the Philippines.
