The Ultra Carry is a stainless model with alloy frame and of course the Glock I reference is the 36. Kimber weighs 25.0 oz. and 8 rounds capacity. Glock 36 weighs 20.0 oz. and 7 rounds capacity. Side by side they both carry great. About the same size too. Colt’s calls this combination the Concealed Carry Officer’s Model, or CCO. All three guns in this report have the shortened “Commander”-length slide and light frames, but only two of the test guns have the full-size grip. Posts: 12,451. Get the compact (4") Kimber rather than an ultra (3"), IMO. The 4" are more reliable, require less maintenance, give more sight radius, more bullet velocity, and are still 95% as easy to conceal. Having said that, I had an Ultra Carry for awhile, and it worked perfectly reliably.

On the other hand reliability of the P938 is questionable. In examining my pistols I noticed both have series 80 firing pin stops (FPS), yet both have series 70 ejectors and the Super Carry does not seem to have a grip activated FP release where the Tactical Ultra II does.I have an Ultra Carry, and the Compact CDP. Difference in size being the lenggth of the barrell. They both have a shorter grip than a standard 45, which makes them easier to conceal. Barrel length is not really a concern if you're talking about concealability.
