The trigger in the Atlas feels more tactile than the XC. Advantage Atlas, unless you prefer the feel of a duty (ish) trigger. To me, the atlas has just enough weight to feel deliberate but still incredibly smooth. Got a staccato P, still shoot my Glock 34 better. Got a staccato P DPO and mounted a Steiner MPS on it and took it to the range to compare with my Glock 34 with Glock performance trigger and barsto barrel. The glock performance trigger is a better trigger than the staccato out of the box. The glock gauges at a 3lbs 7oz and the staccato is 4lbs 4oz.

Conclusion. The C and C2 continue Staccato’s commitment to performance-driven handguns. Offering smooth shooting and an out-of-the-box appeal, they won over …Staccato In Rhythm Guitar. The Staccato C is priced at $1699 and the KC9 is ~$2300. Same capacity. the KC9 is heavier due to all steel construction. The pros for the Staccato C is the price and the functionality (it's optics ready). The pros for KC9 for me is primarily the aesthetics, I like the stainless look and the grips seem much better to me.

We've all heard the old wives' tales about how lightweight, aluminum versions of steel duty guns are more difficult to manage. It's the age-old compromise of portability versus shootability. With the sub 4" barrel the CS is a better carry option, IMHO, maybe not the best range or home defense. The C2 is just to thick and blocky in the grip for me. The new "C" will have the newer slimmer grip of the SC and the slightly longer barrel. Reply.

Steel vs aluminum, I just have the C2s, and use them for carry and training. They have just slightly more muzzle flip than the steel Staccato P. If this is a carry gun, I would vote for Aluminum. If for range and training, I would choose the Staccato P steel frame. The DLC coating on the barrel is more cosmetic. If you can find a staccato tax free somewhere, the hero's program only saves like 50 bucks vs the tax free option (depending on your states tax rate) But if you are an active LE then it's totally worth it with the free mags and 15% off vs just 10% off and no extra mags for military Like I got.
