On the the other hand I drove Toyota sienna, and sienna’s sliding doors open manually very smoothly. What has worked best for me is to use silicone spray on the centre area and also if you have rattle silicone spray all the rubber parts along the doors and the frame area and the rattle disappears. What silicone spray does is it brings back the rubber to almost new state.
