They send an invite to basically anyone, and there are more legit and recognized organizations that don't cost so much.Also, based on the logic given by you for signing up, it would be more concerning if this society promised $50,000 to anyone who paid the $95.00 fee, rather than having a vetting process (like all legitimate scholarships do) to give out awards.
