Did lost sectors always say rare/common on legend/master mode? I haven't seen a comprehensive farm post-lightfall to compare drop rates to the supposed ~25%/+% we used to have. from what ive heard its 25% on legend and 30% on master. pretty sure you can rerun campaign on legend for the exotic.There is a 99,8% chance to get at least 1 exotic when running 15 master platinum lost sectors. chance to get AT LEAST ONE exotic after X runs: = 1 - (2/3)^X. 1.There is way too much RNG involved to have this low of a drop chance. I've seen that the Legend lost sector has a 25% drop chance (lol okay sure) and Master only has 33% (literally no point in doing master other than for triumphs). They’re getting well over 30% for legendary. Did they change the drop rates in the 1310 lost sectors? I got home last night at 1045 from my second job and decided to run the lost sector to get the new exotics on my 3 characters (or so i thought). I ran it for 1 hour and 45 minutes. It was something around 14-15 clears. I had it down to around 7-8 minutes a run.

The drop rate is somewhere between 33-25 percent, maybe lower? If we are to use hunter helmets as an example and say a master lost sector takes between 5-10 minutes that means you are t5aking maybe 15-35 minutes for a 1/8ish chance at the exotic you want, and then hoping that drop doesn't have garbage rolls.
