I’ve read some troubleshooting to check for the metal pinch bars to be in contact all the time. I’ve tried to clean it and it appears to be in contact as well. The pin is not corroded as well.It may help to turn off the light if you have a particular version of the lr3. Basically when the light turns on the bonnet sensor will short out. If you have the issue though without the light on then there may be a different issue. Another option is to place a wire between the bonnet sensor contacts to bypass it going into the bonnet entirely.
