Jeep jk running hot.
On hot days (temps in 90's plus), my Jeep would overheat while driving regardless of speed. Higher speeds didn't help cool it off. In older vehicles that had questionable cooling fans, you could just drive 50-60 and the airflow through radiator was enough to keep your engine happy. Not so in the JK. Particularly if you're running the A/C.

JK running hot. My GF’s 2012 started getting hot this spring. Cel came on for oil pressure sensor a month or so before the heating issues started. Once it started getting hot, she had the oil filter housing and sensor replaced. That took care of the cel but the Jeep still gets hot. Her normal commute is 20 min to work and 30 or so to get home ...The pentastar does run on the hot side for better efficiency. Also keep in mind that the coolant temperature sensor is located at the left (driver) side engine head. Coolant is pushed by the pump through the engine block (around the cylinders) then through the heads and on to the oil heat exchanger, heater core and radiator via the thermostat.
Does anyone know what the operating temperature of a 2015 JK is? The reason is, I think mine is running hot. The JK is still over heating. Coolant is Genuine Mopar Coolant, also. It is NOT consuming any coolant at all, it has not gone down since the last flush. Jeep still stops running and it happens nearly everyday. I have been to Ourisman Jeep in Clarksville, MD, about 5 or 6 times with this problem. They say they can't repair this because they don't know what it is. Yesterday, 8/2/2017, it stopped running twice. The second time it was at a busy intersection. It starts right up but will not go in gear.

Started to overheat after a trip to an ORV park but I washed the radiator out and its pretty clean on the outside.
