For guns a sticky cryo torgue shotguns with a lot of pellets and buffmeister will take you all the way to chaos 35 if you spec your points right. That's what I was running until LC got nerfed and it didn't feel like I was doing much damage. I haven't tested blizzard since they fixed the crits.
