Personally I was more accurate with the glocks then the XD but their all great guns. Another gun I would suggest looking at is the Ruger SR9c. XD. points better, and has a grip safety in addition to the useless trigger safety found on both guns. also, XD will likely be cheaper, and Glock 40's don't have nearly as good a rep, as the Glock 9mm's. just my $.02....unless it's an EDC, I'd move on up to the XDm .40.

Shooting and comparing the Glock 23 and XD Service model, my final look at the XD Service model. I did some very average shooting at one point with the G2...Glock will obviously have a heavy following for obvious and legitimate reasons. I can only speak from personal experience, but I was down to a Glock, M&P and a XD 9. I've never for one second regretting going with the XD. Had the chance to shoot them all side by side after the fact and that only further solidified my happiness.
