The Cub Cadet 782 is a 2WD lawn and garden tractor from the IH 82 (1979-1981) or MTD 82 (1982-1985) series. This tractor was manufactured by Cub Cadet (a part of International Harvester from 1979 to 1981 or MTD from 1982 to 1985) in Louisville, Kentucky, USA from 1979 to 1985.Muffler is a used muffler from a John Deere lawn tractor (STX38 if I remember right) with a vertical shaft Kohler Command single cylinder, modified to fit. The Walbro is a fixed high speed jet style, and in my opinion, pure trash. I would be seeking a much better Carter/Kohler fully adjustable unit.
