While you do only have one pistol, most of your abilities are built into your suit, with stuff like wrist-mounted flamethrowers and shoulder-mounted rocket launchers. You also get a fine array of passive damage mitigation abilities that make you deceptively bulky.
Plus since resil changes, their class ability is now tied to flinch resistance which is wild. Plus OHK melees. And Titans get movement tech on all 3 subclasses whereas between Warlock and Hunter only TTD gets dash on a cooldown, lol. And the agile Hunter class gets no movement tech lol.
Also, with Shatterdive and a sword with the Eager Edge perk, you can sword skate and travel faster than Sonic the Hedgehog. With the Zephyr sword with the Cold Steel perk (and the right sword mods) you can be practically invincible. Bottom Void or Stasis. Any of them. With the recent nerf to Arc Titans, Solar Hunters can very comfortably reclaim the top-spot as the best subclass in the game for PvP.In my opinion shatterdive hunter is still the best subclass. It was a top tier class at the end of last season and got super buffs. Plus it's playstyle and strengths lend themselves well to trials since it is focused on getting single kills every now and then via the shatterdive combo which will win you rounds.Bomber x3.
