Jul 29, 2009 · I'm considering converting a Farmall 560 to 3 point hitch. What do you think? We love the 560's for haying. I would like to run a 990 mower conditioner, a new small square baler and a 7 ft. Bush Hog (requires 3 pt. hitch). The open station 560 is great for haying. Visibility is good. The live PTO works great. It is just the right size.

Working from your second picture, it looks like you need to lower the right side until the bottoms are even, both touching the ground.

Look at HamiltonBob's website (site sponsor) for lo-boy parts. That's his specialty. The big problem is that you need to add a hydraulic diverter valve, piping, and separate rear hydraulic cylinder before you add the 3-point hitch arms and stuff. If it were just the arms, it would be a piece of cake and cost nearly nothing.
