Getting used to the NBME question style is really what the practice shelf exams are for. Do your UW incorrects for surgery and fuck UW IM questions except for GI (you don't have to do all of them). The "surgery is actually IM" hype is so overblown. Most of the test is trauma, peri-op management, and GI which is exactly what UW surgery covers.
When I took it 2 years ago, there was no FM section in uworld. I would do the AAFP questions next time prior to the exam, look at the anki cards from dorian deck, and redo your peds and ob questions as well. Divine intervention podcasts are also very clutch. Have at least 2 out of the 3: Score at least 1 SD above the mean on shelf, at least 1 SD above the mean on OSCE, have at least a 3.5/4 on clinical evals. Generally clinical evals are worth 50% of the grade, OSCE 20%, shelf 25%, and then 5% is some nebulous committee that gives you a grade, usually 3/4. 2.It depends on which shelf, honestly, since UWorld is targeted at the Step 2 CK and the shelf exams go into more detail on certain topics. Personally, I didn't think UWorld covered nearly enough for things like FM, Neuro. For IM it was helpful but only using QBanks to study is pretty mentally draining after a long day on the wards.
