Found general W123 procedure, but seems to be some discrepancy with the block drain plug. Unsure if 300D is same as other W123 models. If all you want is fuel economy, swap in a 2.3L with a 5sp and some high gears, youll get more MPG then the diesel and be a helluva lot cheaper and eaiser. If you want power a V8 is your best option. I know that I can make the adapters to bolt it to the Toyota w-56 5spd, my question is how reliable of a power plant would this be for a little truck.
