Dual Blade Combos. The Dual Blades' combos are relatively easy to remember. You are almost just spamming one button instead of mixing up every attack button available. The basic combos are X + X + X and A + A + X + A. The stationary combo lunges you a bit forward on the last strike which could be timed perfectly to dodge away from the monster.
For dual blades, stamina management is extremely critical for consistent dps and survivability. As such, Blight Resistance 3 and at least 1 or 2 points in Sprinter are a priority. Dual blades are on the only weapon categories where elemental damage really shines. Combined with generally low motion values, imo any "best damage" dual blade set uses Crit Element. A good elemental DB set should be able to take down Tempered VH or Teostra or Nerg in less than 5 minutes, even without being perfect. Sample set:

If you're dual wielding then you need the perk the gets your a fast dual-wield attack speed. Go heavy in to stamina and get the perk that reduces stamina cost of power attacks.
